INTREC assisted Milperra Public School in the construction of their New Hall Project which included storage and stage facilities. Milperra Public School is a friendly primary school providing quality educational programs in a caring, supportive environment internally and to the wider community.
This project included the construction of a new multi-purpose hall, catering for sports, PE, performance, amenities, and storerooms, as well as adjustments to the existing main footpath from Poizeres Avenue to the hall main entrance. Our team worked closely with School Infrastructure NSW to create a space that provides students with new opportunities for recreational activities in a modern and unique environment.
Key challenges included working within a live school environment, in which the project was programmed around holiday periods and weekends to ensure minimal disruptions to students. INTREC recognises the importance and sensitivity of working within an operating school, which requires careful management of live environments. Throughout the course of this project, our team implemented all measures possible to mitigate any disruptions to the day-to-day operations of the school.
