Situated on the coastline of the Northern Beaches, Long Reef Golf Club (LRGC) is one of hte most breathtaking locations, being a prime destination for high end functions, weddings and celebrations. INTREC was engaged by LRGC to deliver refurbishment works to the existing function spaces at the clubhouse.

The initial phase of the project focused on enhancing the functionality of both the Function and Cafe spaces, with a primary focus on the two commerical kitchens. This involved the fitout of these areas with new amenities, such as updated fridge and freezer rooms, ensuring compliance with existing commercial kitchen standards, installing a new concrete slab and flooring, as well as revamping ceilings, walls, and storage spaces.

The primary functions areas, including the Pacific Room and Reef Room, underwent substantial upgrades. This included the installation of new flooring, ceilings with integrated lighting pelmets, implementation of a state-of-the-art AV system, adoption of a Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) control lighting system, and the incorporation of new bi-fold doors and louvers.

Located at the forefront of the active Golf Club, this project required a seamless partnership between our team and the LRGC Management team to guarantee minimal interference with the club’s daily operations. Our carefully crafted program was designed to align with the existing bookings for the function rooms, ensuring uninterrupted availability for scheduled events at this prestigious venue.

Our team successfully handed over the venue on time to align with pre-existing wedding bookings. The result was the transformation of function rooms into brighter, more open spaces that beautifully showcased the stunning coastal views. It is worth noting that a flood of new venue bookings was secured immediately upon the project’s completion.

Additionally, INTREC conducted a comprehensive building audit to assess the current condition of all services, the structural integrity of the building, and the roofing system.
