GHD engaged INTREC to deliver a modern, sustainable, and digitally enabled office space that reflects its collaborative and diverse workplace culture. The project involved a three-stage interior refurbishment across Levels 12, 14 and 15 of GHD’s existing office space on Castlereagh Street in Sydney’s CBD.
The transformation included the full demolition of the existing fitout and a complete upgrade of building services across all three floors. The new workplace features open-plan workstations, meeting rooms, quiet rooms, kitchenettes, utilities, breakout spaces, and welcoming reception and waiting areas. High-end architectural finishes were incorporated throughout, including perforated timber ceilings, sprayed acoustic treatments, and Bolon vinyl flooring.
Working in a live, fully tenanted building within the CBD, INTREC carefully planned and managed all stages of construction to minimise disruption to neighbouring offices. Despite the added complexity of concurrent building works and COVID-19 restrictions, the project was delivered on time and in full compliance with all health and safety requirements.
The result is a dynamic, future-focused workspace that enhances collaboration, supports focused work, and reflects GHD’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
