Victoria University (VU) required a head contractor with experience in asbestos removal to refurbish two existing classroom areas which were in two separate buildings, located at their main Footscray campus. The two new classrooms included a new state of the art Audio Visual system which Victoria University had not previously installed.
The demolition of the existing walls and ceiling included the need for meticulously careful workmanship as there was asbestos removal required. The construction of the new facility included a full fitout of mechanical, electrical, data, Audio Visual, security, joinery, walls, glazing, ceilings, doors and hardware, flooring, loose furniture and painting.
