INTREC were nominated by Marble Recruitment to deliver the refurbishment of their new office space in Brisbane CBD. Marble are a national recruitment firm who specialise in the construction, infrastructure and mining sectors.
The scope of works included an office fitout for the Marble Recruitment Brisbane team. INTREC were appointed to deliver a welcoming, innovative space which included a 10 person boardroom, small meeting room, managers office, tea-point, communal breakout area, waiting room and open plan workspace which can hold up to 12 people. The scope also included a base building element of works, which was to be completed concurrently with contractors onsite.
There were various project risks for INTREC to mitigate when working on this fantastic project for Marble Recruitment. The team worked within a tight construction programme which was dependent on tenants vacating their previous workspace by a set date. To add to the timing limitations, the landlord component of work was only approved in design 10 days before the project was scheduled for completion.
Overall, this was a successful first project to work with Marble Recruitment on. INTREC are proud to share that the project was delivered defect free and on time. Additionally, several variations were delivered without impacting the project schedule. A strong relationship was developed with the client which will encourage a long-term partnership.
