INTREC worked with Cerno Management, Hinge Architects and Lucid Consulting to deliver an open plan office space for RMIT University. Vital to relieving the current space restraints within RMIT buildings, the new office and workshop space caters to four individual social innovation departments. Works consisted of a full strip-out and installation of new modern finishes, including feature front entry stairs. Works also involved new mechanical and electrical services, a new Audio Visual system and acoustic sound design, which enabled clear segregation of the space to cater to the needs of all users. Collaboration within the space was at the forefront of the project design, with floor finishes, joinery and loose furniture installed to emphasise the ample storage space available.
