INTREC completed a comprehensive refurbishment and full roof replacement at Opal HealthCare’s Mornington Bay facility.
The scope of works included stylish upgrades to key communal spaces such as reception, café, dining areas, bar, hairdresser, tea stations, and multiple nurses’ stations. A full refurbishment of 140 resident bedrooms and ensuites was also delivered, breathing new life into the living spaces. A staged re-roofing program covering 8,500 square metres was also carried out.
From the outset, INTREC worked in close partnership with the client and consultants, contributing to the design phase and delivering tailored planning, staging, and programming strategies. All works were completed in a live environment with a clear focus on safety, comfort, and minimal disruption to residents and staff.
