INTREC were engaged by the University of Newcastle as the Principal Contractor to deliver the refurbishment of the high-performance gym and amenities spaces at the Forum Sports & Aquatic Centre on their Callaghan campus. This project included the demolition and fit-out of the amenities and high-performance gym space. The gym amenities refurbishment involved upgrading the unisex changing rooms, bathrooms, and accessible washrooms. This work included installing new toilet and shower cubicles, vanities, lockers, floor and wall tiling, waterproofing, fixtures, and fittings. Additional services such as electrical and plumbing work were also required as part of the refurbishment.
