As part of a large-scale roll-out of Kids Club Childcare, INTREC completed the construction and fit-out refurbishment of a 90-place childcare centre in Rosebery NSW.
This particular 20-week roll out involved the transformation of an industrial building into a “Kid Friendly” two-floor building. The Childcare Centre featured two outdoor play areas, including state of the art play equipment, bike tracks and landscaping, as well as two cot rooms, a commercial kitchen, and administration areas. Multiple indoor play areas specifically themed for children of different ages were also included as part of the refurbishment.
Structural works involved in the project included the encasement of a main sewer line which ran through the property, and the construction of a new suspended slab to extend the existing Level 1 balcony. The extension of the existing suspended slab and associated foundation works, alongside connecting to an old building were significant challenges.
As of November 2017, this was INTREC’S fourth Kids Club Childcare Centre, we are extremely proud to have delivered this project to a very satisfied client.
