Diversity and Inclusion
Boasting an energetic, positive and unique company culture, INTREC extends our dynamic enthusiasm to our wider community through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. For INTREC, Corporate Social Responsibility is so much more than just a responsibility, it is a passion and drive to improve our surroundings, shaping communities and building a better tomorrow.
At INTREC we support a healthy and active work-life balance. Our team actively participate in marathons and sporting events to raise funds for various charities. The proceeds from our annual Golf Day are donated to the Bear Cottage Charity, who are dedicated to caring for children, parents and families with life-limiting conditions.
Reconciliation
Our Reconciliation Vision
INTREC’s vision for reconciliation is a united Australia which values the heritage and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, celebrates their achievements and contributions. We are committed to working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, businesses and communities to create sustainable pathways for employment, training and skills development.
We want our workplace to reflect the diversity of the communities we work in, and we will play our part to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have the same opportunity to enjoy a prosperous and safe future as the broader population. Currently, we are working with Reconciliation Australia to finalise our next Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
First Nations Ambassador / Advisor
Since 2021, INTREC have engaged Greg Davison as our First Nations Ambassador / Advisor as part of the RAP initiative. Greg is a descendent of the Wiradjuri people from Cowra’s Erambie Mission which is located in the Central West region of NSW. He works closely with our RAP Working Group and the wider team to provide an authentic First Nations perspective, providing advice on effective Aboriginal community engagement and consultations methods as well as provide transformative Aboriginal cultural awareness.
Greg is experienced in leading teams and non-profit organisations, conducting strategic planning and organisational development improvements. Greg has been a key part of the development of our Innovate RAP.
Annual Bennelong Cup
In recent years, INTREC was a proud gold sponsor of the Bennelong Cup. This event was established in 2018 by Bennelong Energy Services (BES) directors Gaven Sheehan and Cliff Lyons. The day provides networking opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander school leavers, partnering with organisations such as the NRL’s School to Work program, the Waratah Project, and Souths Cares.
Our team participated in the touch football competition and the formalities post the activities, meeting representatives from these valuable organisations and establishing relationships with these key stakeholders. This annual event is an amazing way to provide support and employment opportunities to Indigenous students transitioning from school to work and we are excited to continue our involvement in this event in the future.
Sustainability
INTREC are proud to have been the Head Contractor on Green Star accredited fitouts, and are excited to be able to bring our expertise and understanding of moder sustainable design to your next project. We have developed a policy and procedure outlining our effectiveness to sustainable project success on the following slides. At INTREC we believe in building for the future.
Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Growth is embedded in INTREC’s very foundations and fostered through every facet of our organisation, from our people to our projects. We are committed to creating sustainable solutions and building for the future, generating a better tomorrow.

INTREC acknowledge and understand our role in the delivery of sustainable projects. To us, it’s simple. The earlier we are engaged in the design process, the greater impact we can have over sustainable interventions on any project.
