This National Reconciliation Week, INTREC is committed to being part of the change.
This year’s theme is “Be Brave. Make Change.” It is a challenge to all Australians to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.
INTREC acknowledges that we are all part of the journey towards breaching the knowledge gap, and we are committed to ensuring workplace diversity and inclusion.
We are currently working with Reconciliation Australia to finalise our Innovate RAP, where we will focus on developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, engaging staff and stakeholders in reconciliation, and developing strategies to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and businesses.
2022 is a year for us all to take action and to play our part if we are to achieve a just, equitable, reconciled Australia.
It is important for our team to continue to gain a deeper understanding of how we can drive our organisation’s contribution to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which we operate.
Reconciliation goes further than this week. INTREC are challenging our team members to step up and be part of the change.
