Leading Hand at INTREC

As a Leading Hand you will be responsible for assisting with site management, coordinating on-site activities to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Assist with all aspects of site activity from establishment right through to defect rectification
  • Undertake responsibility for onsite safety and establishing site in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
  • Coordinate trades and assist with subcontractor inductions
  • Open and close site as required
  • Light labouring work from time to time
  • Record daily site activities

The skills we need

  • A trade background would be highly advantageous (electrical, carpentry, bricklaying)
  • Prior experience working on commercial construction projects is desirable
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Flexibility, adaptability and problem-solving expertise
  • MS Office: Project, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Enthusiasm, passion and a willingness to learn
  • You must have a valid White Card
