At INTREC safety is everyone’s business, and safety does not only apply to being safe on a construction site but rather encompasses all aspects of safety, health, and wellbeing.
We place a high level of importance on the wellbeing of our team and offer many resources, online learning platforms, and support networks surrounding our 4 Pillars of Wellbeing: Nutrition/Hydration, Exercise, Sleep, and a Positive Mindset.
INTREC’s Wellbeing Ambassador, David Vaealiki, works closely with our team to help improve their general wellbeing.
“The healthy culture that INTREC has developed will ultimately benefit the team and their families… I have recently witnessed employees increase their fitness, lose weight, decrease stress levels, improve their sleep, and take positive steps to overcome major health issues.”
Working in a deadline-driven industry, we invest in supporting our staff by developing an extensive Wellbeing program. Wellbeing has a large impact on performance and productivity in the workplace, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle supports all facets of life -including work – helping to manage stress and maintain positivity.
We actively show our support for Mates in Construction through hosting events such as our annual Golf Day to raise money for this worthwhile cause.
