Intrec recently completed the fitout of a new commercial office in the Werrington Park Corporate Centre. The centre is a game-changing initiative for Western Sydney and the University of Western Sydney is at the heart of it.
The fitout Intrec was involved in is part of the ‘Business Development Incubator’ which helps to promote entrepreneurship and provide start-up businesses with cost-effective workspaces, mentoring and support for investment and growth.
The fitout included a new commercial office which included new breakout area, offices, meeting rooms, conference rooms. Part of the fitout was to reconfigure the base building system and the addition of a Fan Coil Unit.
A dramatic design feature included screens made out of spotted gum timber.
The fitout commenced prior to the base building being completed. The challenges faced on site included access difficulties, completion and commissioning of services together with base building.
The building was officially unveiled on the 17th April 2015, UWS Vice-Chancellor Professor Barney Glover, Federal Member for Lindsay Fiona Scott, Minister for Communications Malcolm Turnbull, Mayor of Penrith Councillor Ross Fowler and UWS Chancellor Professor Peter Shergold were in attendance, for further information on Werrington Park click here
