The McGrathNicol building is a recently refurbished building, as such our works entailed the complete fit out of level 7 with the exception of the base building carpet and ceiling tiles. Intrec carried out an extensive high end fit out comprising of all services, joinery, partitions, glazing, tiling, floor and wall finishes, operable walls, and furnishings.

The mechanical works comprised of reconfiguring the base building mechanical, new PAC units for the communications room, boardroom and meeting rooms. All mechanical controls were carried out by Johnson Controls.

Intrec installed a glazed operable wall system ensuring that we used as much natural light throughout the office space as possible. The project involved the installation of ‘Light Harvesting” to the perimeter troffer lights and a ‘Dynalite’ lighting control throughout.

The building was tenanted throughout the project, and a tenant moved into the adjoining tenancy within our floor midway through the project.

The design was an innovative design carried out by Geyer utilizing natural products and taking full effect of the natural surrounds and views from the floor.
